Located on the west coast of Portugal (Just under 2 hours from Lisbon and the same Faro) in Europe’s largest coastal parkland. The property is set back from the Mira River and is about 3km from the Atlantic Ocean a 5 minute drive from the town of “Milfontes”. Milfontes has 5 wonderful beaches and many renowned fish restaurants as well as some great cafes and bars. Milfontes Lodge House has 9 large en suite guest rooms With full service including a great chef. The house is set in a well laid out and mature garden, with ample outdoor covered terrace areas and a 11m pool surrounded by a deck and the guest house has been fitted with a state of the art water heating system and all mod cons. This result in guests enjoying a special old world rustic charm without missing out on the modern luxuries expected in a good hotel-giving a really special balance. The local landscapes include; ridges, cliffs and waterfalls, woodland and flatter open countryside. Ideal for large groups.

Prices are per week in UK Pounds. All heating and cooling and utility bills are included. Cook and babysitter are available at a special rate.

Usually Saturday arrive after 16:00 depart before 10:00.

| Utility Room: | Clothes washing machine, oversized ironing board with stream iron built-in, all the requirements to operate a lodge of this size. |
| Living Rooms: | Clubhouse lounge area seating on soft chairs for about 10, with small breakfast/serving bar and covered terrace which can cater for 24 in a full sit down meal. Clubhouse has state of the art entertainment system including large flat screen TV. |
| Other: | Second lounge near the pool deck beside rooms, has oversized very comfortable couches, with seating for about 10, another state of the art entertainment system, including large flat screen TV etc. Barn has peddle go cart and other large toys for kids! |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Usually cleaned every other day with towels and linen changed every 3 days. This can be requested and with an extra payment full cleaning can be carried out every day. |
Notes on accommodation
The house is located in the centre of a 25 acre property and has views over the pool, the fields and the mountains. The houses have large elevated exposed terraces and also a large covered terrace which can cater for full sit down meals for more than 20 guests.
To support this there is a well appointed kitchen with all mod cons. It also has 2 large separate lounge areas (both with state of the art entertainment systems).
The guest room section of the house has a separate large, well laid out open plan lounge area leading to 9 large guest rooms all with en suites and terraces. All rooms have been planned and finished up to 4-star tourism standard.

Accessibility
From the clubhouse area to the guest rooms there are 3 steps (these can be by-passed by going through garden) other than this 8 of the 9 guest rooms are easily accessible. The doorways give 70cm clear and the bathrooms are spacious. Depending on the degree of disability this may be a great location for a group of disabled people. We have run successful holidays in the past for the RDA and understand the needs. Please ask us specifically for your requirements and we will advise.
Outside
The house is located in its own 25 acre grounds. The swimming pool faces southeast. It and the wonderful south facing closed garden around it and is the perfect place to relax and just chill out. This garden has a very special feeling of relaxation. Outdoor furniture includes sunbeds, barbecue, outdoor seating for 24, deckchairs for all rooms.
