The villa is in the Fairviews Village and has a spacious living room and dining area with TV/DVD and Sky facilities. There is a fully fitted kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. One of the bedrooms has an en suite bath/shower/toilet, the other 2 have adjacent bath/shower/toilet facilities each. There is an upstairs balcony and a downstairs patio with table/chairs/loungers/barbecue. The property is fully air conditioned and has heating facilities. Guests have access to the heated outdoor pool (plus children's pool) which is 1 minute's walk away. In addition there is a clubhouse/spa facility opened within the last year with a bar/restaurant/gym/indoor pool available. In the same area there is the golf course itself, a driving range together with a children's play area and 2 tennis courts. Praia da Luz and Lagos are both less than 10 minutes drive away and there are at least 2 large supermarkets within easy reach of the resort.

Outside
Upstairs balcony overlooks golf course with table and 4 chairs, accessible from bedrooms 1 and 2. Ground floor terrace with dining, barbecue and sunbathing facilities accessed from double patio doors from living/dining area. Secure communal heated pool (from March - November) with separate children's pool accessible via entry card.
Coast/Beach
Nearest beaches are Praia da Luz (5 mins drive), Lagos (~10 mins depending on which beach). Many beautiful, quiet, sandy beaches on both Algarve and Atlantic coasts within 45-60 minutes drive with good swimming, sunbathing, surfing available depending on which you choose.
Golf
Boavista has mature 18 hole course with all facilities cared for including club and buggy hire, new clubhouse with bar/restaurant, practice ground and driving range. The 1st tee is 3 minutes walk from the property. In addition, Palmares approx 5 miles, Penina Championship course 10 miles, Parque da Floresta 8 miles. Excellent road links allow 15 of the region's finest courses to be less than 1 hour's drive away.
Travel
Airport is Faro which is 50 minutes drive along A22 motorway. Car hire is reasonably cheap and there are a good number of reputable companies based at the airport. This is the recommended form of transport. Taxi to and from the airport is ~80 euros one way, local taxis are abundant and usually not too expensive. Local bus services are cheap but tricky to use unless you speak Portugese. The nearest train station is Lagos and that is approx 10 mins by taxi from Boavista.

Lagos 2 miles, Praia da Luz 2 miles, West coast beeches ~ 30 miles, Faro airport ~ 45-50 miles, Monchique (inland and mountainous) ~ 15 miles. Waterparks (kid love em!) ~7 and ~15 miles. Portimao ~ 10 miles.
Further details
Lagos contains all services needed plus has a marina with regular boating and fishing trips available. Has attractive central walled portion of historic interest and active fishing industry/market. Many beautiful beeches and inland/coastal walks. Local riding school will help those of an equine predisposition explore the area on hoof!
