Casa Colina Sonolenta is a charming two bedroom villa on the edge of Gorjoes. As its name suggests, 'the house on the sleepy hill' is the ideal retreat for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, being set in glorious Algarve countryside with superb views. Along with its private pool, BBQ, roof terrace and patios with poolside pergola, the villa is fully equipped and maintained to a high standard. There is a bar/cafe and a small supermarket at Corotelo (5 mins drive), with further excellent choices to be made in Santa Barbara and Sao Bras just 5km away. The bustling market town of Loule at 8km offers wonderful fresh regional produce, fish and local handicrafts. There is an array of glorious beaches (the nearest about 20 minutes drive) and Faro is also just 20 minutes away. This villa is not really suitable for children under the age of 5.

| Living Rooms: | Comfortable lounge/dining room with open fireplace. There is a TV (with Freeview satellite channels), DVD player, radio and CD player with a selection of DVDs, CDs, books and games. The sitting room opens onto a small sun terrace. |
| Other: | The roof terrace has lovely country views and is ideal for sunbathing and evening drinks. The wonderful sunsets can be enjoyed from both the poolside and the roof terrace. |

Linen and towels are provided and changed weekly. Please bring your own swimming towels. |

Welcome pack on arrival. The gardens are landscaped and a boules area is being prepared for 2009. The drive features double gates and a car port for two cars.

Outside
The house is set in landscaped gardens with mature shrubs, olive and carob trees, palms, agave and climbing bougainvillea. There are patio areas all around the villa plus a large roof terrace. 10x5m pool with recliners and patio furniture. Barbecue and outside eating area.
Coast/Beach
Quinta do Lago and Vale de Lobo beaches are approx. 20 minutes by car. The lovely marina at Vilamoura and many other glorious beaches within 30 minutes. There is an excellent waterpark on the road to Quateira/Vilamoura that children of all ages will enjoy.
Golf
There are several excellent golf courses nearby. Quinta do Lago, Pinheiras Alto and Vale de Lobo are all within 20 minutes. Villamoura courses are approximately 25 minutes. Benamor, Quinta da Ria and Quinta de Cima, close to Tavira are approximately 35mins.
Travel
Faro is approximately 20 minutes by car. Car hire is essential.
Distances
Corotelo is about 2kms with a mini market and bar/cafe. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants, a bank, post office, health centre and petrol station at both Santa Barbara and Sao Bras (within 5km). The Roman ruins and palace at Estoi are a must at 15 minutes away. The Ria Formosa National Park is also approx. 15 mins. Loulo (8kms) is a charming town with many ameneties.
Booking notes
A deposit of 33% is required to confirm booking. The balance to be settled 4 weeks before arrival. A cancellation at less than 4 weeks before arrival is non-refundable. It is strongly advised that guests take out travel insurance.
