Apartment is situated along the shores of Lochcarron. Approx 1/2 mile from the property is an active sailing club which welcomes visitors.

9 hole golf coarse approx 1 mile from the village. Meals and light refreshments served in the clubhouse. Open to non members. Recommended.

Special interest holidays
Salmon fishing permits on the Carron river are available from the butcher's shop below the apartment. Information on hill loch fishing are also to be had from 'Roddy'.

Travel
You can reach Lochcarron by road or rail. Inverness is the nearest city, which is approx 63 miles away, with regular flights to the south.
By car it takes approx 1 hour 15 mins from Inverness. Glasgow via Glencoe, Fort William approx 4 hours drive.
By rail from Inverness to Strathcarron, you will be travelling on the famous scenic Kyle line.

Distances
Strathcarron is 3 miles from Lochcarron. Kyle of Lochalsh via the bridge over to the Isle of Skye is approx 40 mins by car. Applecross, Shieldaig, Plockton, Eilean Donan castle and the beautiful Torridon mountain range are all within 1 hour's drive from the village.
