Recently re-furbished and re-fitted in modern style reflecting African culture. Main bedroom has king sized bed (150cm) and views over the ocean. En suite bathroom. Second bedroom with standard double bed. Third bedroom with 2 single beds. Fully fitted kitchen including microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, coffee machine. Main bathroom basin, wc and separate shower. Large open plan lounge with views of Table Mountain and access to terrace. Equipped with TV, DVD player and hi-fi System including i-pod docking station. Dining area with dining table for 6 people. Outside there is a terrace providing a private relaxing and entertaining space with 180 degree views, sun-loungers and outside dining for 6. There is also a BBQ available. |

Notes on accommodation
Accommodation is ideal for children although the swimming pool is unsupervised.
Accessibility
The penthouse is accessed by 2 flights of stairs but the villa is on a single level throughout.
Outside
The complex has 24 hour security and the accommodation has an allocated parking space. The grounds are spaciously laid out with extensive gardens and include a 20m swimming pool, children’s paddling pool, tennis, squash and beach volley ball court. There is a restaurant/bar, “essentials” shop and laundry facilities. Many residents live here permanently and so whilst a fabulous holiday location, there is a peaceful relaxed atmosphere. There are barbecue facilities provided
Coast/Beach
The beach is a short (100m) stroll across the sand dunes which are themselves a nature reserve and then when on the beach you can walk for miles - to the south are the restaurants in the centre of Blouberg and to the north nothing but space for your footprints.
The sea is perfect for watersports including surfing windsurfiung and kitesurfing and you can spot seals and dolphins
Golf
The Atlantic Beach golf course is 5 mins drive north
Travel
Shopping and restaurants are a 5 minute walk away and Cape Town city centre is 20 minutes drive away.
The airport is a 30 minute drive and the famous Stellenbosch Winelands is 40 minutes drive.
The Atlantic Beach golf course is 5 mins drive north from the apartment and about 45 minutes further on is the beautiful West CoastNational Park with its wild life and lagoon, perfect for sheltered, warm water swimming.
Booking notes
Booking is in UK Pounds (although Dollars, Euros and SA Rand also accepted). 50% deposit to secure and the balance 4 weeks vefore arrival. A breakage deposit will also be required.

All went very well on my trip to the Cape and I was particularly delighted with the Big Bay apartment which was terrific and just what was needed. Everything about the holiday went really well, we had a fantastic holiday of a lifetime and will return sometime, the apartment was great, the beach was quiet and the views were fabulous, with some fantastic Table Mountain sunsets. Travelling in and out of Cape Town was easy, the hire car was great - almost new 270km only. Everyone we met were friendly and helpful. Alan K.
