This is a self-catering holiday home, daily cleaning and laundry can be arranged. We would also be happy to take you on day tours to the famous Winelands of Stellenbosch and Paarl or to the City of Cape Town.

Changeover day
Changeover is flexible. Minimum of 1 weeks' stay. Arrival after 2pm. Departure before 10am.

Notes on accommodation
The property is north-facing - well insulated, thus cool in summer and warm in winter. For your peace of mind it is situated on a secure golf estate with a manned security gate, 24-hr patrols and an electrical fence around the entire estate. Children are welcome, but the pool is not fenced in with access from the lounge therefore not suitable for children that cannot swim.

Not suitable for wheelchair users as there is a step in the lounge.

Well-maintained garden and small lawn with plants from the area. Large private entertainment patio with barbeque facilities. Outside furniture includes couches, sunloungers, umbrellas and a 6 seater table and chairs.
Coast/Beach
Kleinmonds blue flag Beach is 10km away. Beaches in Hermanus (40km). Swimming in a river (15km).
Golf
Villa Sikelela is on one of the most beautiful golf courses in the world and ranked under the top 100 outside the US. Nearby is a 9 hole golf course in Kleinmond (10km) and a 27 hole golf course in Hermanus (30km).
Special interest holidays
The home owner runs a well-established Tour Company in Cape Town which specialises in Day Tours and Tours of the Garden Route. We would be happy to compile a small golf tour around your holiday. If you wish to self-drive, a Mercedes can be rented with Villa Sikelela at a very reasonable rate. Transfers to and from the airport (80km) can be arranged.
Travel
Cape Town International Airport is 1 hours drive away. Use of a car is essential if you wish to leave the Estate. A golf cart is available for driving on the estate and on the golf course.
Distances
Shopping for groceries, banking and doctor in Kleinmond (10km) or Hermanus (25km). Private Medi Clinic in Hermanus.

Activities: Whale watching in season (Aug - Nov). Shark-Diving. Scuba-Diving. Deep-Sea Fishing. Horse Riding on the Estate along the Lagoon or on the beach. Quad-bike driving. Wine tasting in the Hemel-and-Aaarde Valley nearby. Visit the Penquins 20km. Drive to Genadendal the oldest Mission Station in SA.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure the booking. The remainder 4 weeks prior to arrival. A short-term rental contract will be drawn up.
