This house is very large allowing for 2 or more families to be able to holiday together and enjoy the facilities of the kidney shaped pool with barbeque area and shaded terraces. There are 2 large bedrooms downstairs with a full bathroom and 4 double bedrooms upstairs with a further bathroom. The landing upstairs is large leading on to a terrace surrounding 2 sides of the house. The kitchen is spacious, fully fitted and includes a washing machine. The living room has an open fire and large dining area. The house is centrally heated and there is some air conditioning. The village of El Pla de Santa Maria is only 2km away where there are a variety of shops and bars. The motorway leading to both Barcelona and Tarragona is also only 2km away. The whole urbanisation is nestled in forestry with 360º views of mountains and farmland.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the entire property, per week in euros.
All bookings are for exclusive use of the house, pool, barbecue and garden. There are discounts available for 2 weeks or more. There are also substantial discounts for late bookings. Short Winter lets are a possibility.
Changeover day
The preferred changeover day is Saturday.
Arrival at the property is after 4pm but baggage can be left earlier with prior arrangement.
The house needs to be vacated by 11am on the day of departure and left clean and tidy.

Notes on accommodation
The house is large and roomy, does not get overly hot in the summer and as it affords full oil central heating is fantastic for winter holidays too. Especially with the open fire and plenty of space for Christmas decorations. There are no stair gates or separate pool fencing so care will have to be taken with children as the pool is quite deep at one end.
Accessibility
As the house has some downstairs bedrooms and a bathroom, it is also perfect for any holidaymakers with mobility problems. You can holiday here without never needing to go upstairs. Wheelchair uses would have no problem holidaying here. There is no ramp as such but there are only 2 stairs to gain access to the downstairs terrace and entrance to the house. If requested a ramp can be provided.
Outside
The pool is kidney shaped and therefore difficult to state the exact size however there are steps into the shallow end so perfectly safe for youngsters. There is a swing in the garden, a shaded carport for 2 cars, and a large covered barbecue so as not to over cook yourself whilst preparing your grilled food. The garden and pool areas are not overlooked by other properties. There is some garden furniture provided including table and chairs and some sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
The closest beach is 25 minutes away at Torredembarra but a further 5 or 10 minutes gives you access to a complete range of beaches, from busy tourist resort beaches with shops etc to beaches with very few people, easy parking and no shops or bars. There is also a nudist beach close to Tarragona.
Golf
There are several excellent golf courses in the area. Any web search for golf in Tarragona will provide all the information needed. The closest golf course is the Costa Dorada Tarragona with daily or weekly green fees.
Travel
The closest airport is 30 minutes away from the property is Reus airport. Ryanair fly in and out regularly. Barcelona airport is 1 hour 15 minutes away. Car hire would be recommended to see and do all there is in this amazing area but if not possible airport transfers can be provided.
Distances
The village of El Pla de Santa Maria is 2km away with banks, bars and restaurants and the local riding stables that provide treking across the mountains is 15 mins away. Port Aventura and Costa Caribe waterpark, Aqualeon water and safari park, Golf and an enormous street market in Tarragona are all 30 minutes away.
Further details
The area is surrounded by small villages all of which have their own fiestas throughout summer and the Spanish carnivals in February. There are many castles, abandoned villages, lakes and dams, mountains and valleys, all making wonderful walking, cycling or driving day trips. The food in this area is incredible and the many restaurants should be experienced. Locally there is a large very high quality restaurant where a 4 course meal with wine included at lunch time only costs 10.50 euros! (Masia d'el Pla).
The town of Valls has many different fiestas during the summer and in the Winter there is a huge calçotada with thousands of people attending. Calçots being a local vegetable cooked on the barbeque and dipped in an almond and garlic sauce.
There are hospitals and medical centres all very close by should medical assistance be required. All in all the area is definately worth a visit with many people coming back time and time again as there is so much to do.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is required upon booking with the balance required 6 weeks before arrival. Should the booking be within these 6 weeks then the full amount is required. There is a breakage deposit required of 500 euros at the time of full payment and will be in the way of credit card authorisation. Please call or email with any questions.
