Nestling in the scented pine and oak clad hills is this superb villa that has been completely refurbished in June and July 2006. This included new high spec. fixtures and fittings and furniture. It also has a double garage. There are terraces with sun and shaded areas, adjacent to a traditional Spanish barbeque and pool in our large garden. The property is set in 2800 square metres of private garden and original woodland. We are on the exclusive urbanization of ‘Vall Repos’ with its own large pool, tennis courts, football pitch and restaurant and bar available to our clients. We are 10 minutes drive from one of many beaches and shops and restaurants. There are 8 golf courses in the area, one only 10 minutes away! This is an excellent base from which to explore the many attractions of this corner of Spain. Easily accessible, only 30 minutes from Girona airport and 90 from Barcelona airport, centre for many international and Low-cost airlines.

NOTE: The prices include welcome pack, meet and greet service, information and assistance if needed during your stay, departure check out, cleaning, laundry and pool maintenance (when applicable).Discounts for longer winter lets would be considered.Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds but payment can be arranged in Euros.Short breaks for golfing holidays are welcomed and special rates can be arranged.
Changeover day
Saturdays are preferred in the summer season but we are flexible about this especially for late and out off peak bookings.

Notes on accommodation
The villa has full central heating. It has ceiling fans in the lounges and bedrooms. Family friendly location with secure bordered garden and wooded area for children to play safely.
Please state if you need the baby facilities. Our large new pool is a 8m x 4.5m x 1.4m. The shared pool is a full size swimming pool.

Accessibility
The villa mainly is laid out on 1 level (only a bedroom in the tower section is accessed by stairs). The patio, barbeque and private pool are all adjacent to the front of the property and are very accessible to guests with mobility problems. Our showers are of the modern 'walk-in' design and as such priovide easy access. We are happy to discuss any particular concerns you may have and provide details of room sizes etc if this can help in any way.
Outside
2800 square metres of private garden and woodland, so the villa is not overlooked by any other properties. It has shaded and sun terraces. Traditional spanish barbeque and tiled worksurface/serving area. A new 8m x 4.5m x 1.4m pool. Ample parking on driveways and in double garage. The Urbanization has a private sports and social area with a large open air swimming pool, sportsfield, tennis courts restaurant and bar.
Coast/Beach
Several beaches are within 15 minutes drive. One of our favourite is S'Agaro which is 6 miles away. It is a large, secluded sandy beach with rocky headlands. Sailing/boat hire available, with lessons in the summer. Great for swimming and snorkeling with a variety of colourful fish. Also several friendly beach restaurants/bars. Larger resorts such as Sant Antoni de Calonge, Palamos and Platja D'Aro are only 10-20 minutes drive. These have a wide range of Costa Brava attractions to suit all ages.
Golf
This area is a golfers paradise, with championship courses and several 18 hole and 9 hole courses to test the best players. The nearest golf club is 5 to 10 mins drive away (if you check our website you can easily link to this. It really is superb!)

In 2000, it was named 'best emerging golf destination of the year' by IAGTO, the trade association of the golf tourism industry. The course styles are varied including links, parkland layouts which are often lined with impressive pines, cork and oak trees, whilst others include water hazards and large undulating greens.
Skiing
There is winter skiing about 1 1/2 hours drive away. Vallter 2000 a popular Ski Resort is 160km to the North West, this resort is close to Camprodon in the Pyrenees Mountains. During winter it is possible to enjoy Skiing using the villa as a base for day trips.
Special interest holidays
Tennis, walking and cycling: There is a tennis club in Santa Cristina, the area is excellent for walking with lots of great views. There are also a lot of cycle paths for mountain biking and the terrain varies from smooth tracks to good quality off road. Road cyclists will find lots of routes around the neighbouring towns and countryside, and there are plenty of dedicated cycle tracks, many of which are ideal for family outings.
Go-karting is just outside Santa Cristina, on the old road to Castell d'Aro and Platja d'Aro.
Equestrian centre approx 0.5 miles. The coast offers a range of options: sailing, dingy, wind surf hire and water skiing available in S'Agaro and Platja D'Aro during summer. Power boat and yacht hire also available in Platja D'Aro/Palamos marinas.
The city of Barcelona is only 90 minutes away and as a major regional centre caters for almost every special interest you can imagine!
Travel
By Air: 100km North of Barcelona Airport, 25km east of Girona airport and 100km South of Perpignan airport. Flights: There are Ryanair flights from various UK airports to Girona, Easy Jet, BMI Baby and My Travel fly to Barcelona.
Girona airport is about 30 mins drive. There are buses from the airport direct to Santa Cristina.
The major car hire companies have offices at the airport and the airlines all offer special deals. A car will certainly make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable.
Distances
The beautiful coastal towns of: Sant Antoni de Calonge is approximately 10 minutes away and Palamos and Platja D'Aro are 15-20 minutes away. They have a wide variety of beaches, shopping, restaurants and nightlife.
Girona with its medieval old town and superb shopping and communications is only 25 minutes drive.
Barcelona is one of the most vibrant cities in the world and it is only 90 minutes away!

The villa is situated in a superb location with woodland surrounding and the nearest neighbour just in view through the trees. The garden is beautiful and really large with lots to explore. The villa itself is immaculately clean and really well equipped. It has been very tastefully and comfortably refurbished. A car is a necessity as the villa is situated at least 5km from the nearest beach/shop. The location is brilliant only 25 mins from the airport, and only 5 to 10 mins away from lots of different beaches and towns. The owners of the villa are on hand and close by and really helpful.
