This luxury apartment is set in a secure, gated complex with spacious gardens, 2 large swimming pools one of which has a small children's play area. It is a split level apartment with magnificent sea views from the top balcony. It is a 2 minute walk from the beaches of Las Fuentes and the Marina. In season, there are paddle boats and windsurfers for hire and for the more adventurous, jet skis and scuba-diving. Cycling, tennis, bowls and horse-riding are also available. There are 2 excellent golf courses only a 30 minute drive away. The climate in this beautiful area of Spain compares with the Costa del Sol which makes it an ideal year round destination for all age groups.

The apartment has very spacious rooms throughout so is well equipped to take the larger family with the added bonus that it is in a gated complex so children can safely play. It is a split level apartment with a large top balcony that gives panoramic sea views together with a backdrop of the surrounding mountains.

Outside
The complex boasts 2 large swimming pools complete with a small children's pool area. Well kept spacious gardens with plenty of room for sunbathing. Access to the apartment block is by key holder only making this a safe environment for children. There is also a downstairs balcony and small garden area.
Coast/Beach
The beach and marina, with white sand and the clear blue Mediterranean, are only a 2 minute walk away.
Golf
There are 2 excellent golf courses in the area, both only a 30 minute drive away. Prices are very reasonable for a game of golf at both clubs.

Airports:
Barcelona to Alcosebre is just over 2 hours by car.
Valencia & Reus to Alcosebre is just over 1 hour by car
There is a regular train service from both Barcelona and Valencia airports used in conjunction with a reliable taxi service that runs from Alcossebre to the train station in Benicarlo. (Details are available on request. Car hire is recommended to be able to access the beautiful surrounding towns and cities that are in this area.

Further details
The apartment is close to the marina where you can hire boats for fishing, sailing, jet ski's and scuba-diving. There is also a natural bird sanctuary that you can visit complete with hides for viewing. Horse-riding, cycling and tennis are also available in the village.
There are miles of beautiful sandy beaches in Alcossebre, with names of Carregador, La Romana, El Moro, L'Estany, Las Fuentes and the Port Marina, all have been awarded with the EEC Blue Flag award for cleanliness. Restaurants and Tapas bars abound on the sea front close to the marina, and the centre of Alcossebre is only a 10 minute walk away with restaurants ranging from typically Spanish to Chinese and English fare, which are all reasonably priced. All the food shops are filled with fresh produce daily.
Situated in the Costa del Azahar, which is midway between Barcelona and Valencia, Las Fuentes is adjacent to Alcossebre. This area is well renowned for its orange and almond groves. In January/February the almond trees come into blossom and in May its 'Orange Blossom Time'. To the north you will find the picturesque towns of Benicarlo, Peniscola, and Vinaros. To the south is Benicassim which has a large Water World Park and Castellon which is great for shopping. Peniscola is a beautiful town full of history and it is where 'El Cid' was filmed, amongst the castle walls and on the white beaches. Vinaros is renowned for its seafood dishes and each year in February they have a carnival which is on a par with the 'Mardi Gras' in Rio, really well worth a visit at that time of year. A 45 minute drive north is Port Aventura which has a full sized Universal Theme Park.
Booking notes
There is a 20% deposit with all bookings with a £100 breakage deposit which will be completely returned 7 days from the departure date. All deposits are non-refundable and the balance must be paid in full 4 weeks prior to arrival date.
