Villa Palma is a beautiful new 6 bedroom villa conveniently located 15 minutes drive from the lovely seaside resort of Sitges and only 40 minutes drive from Barcelona. Take a winding road up from Sitges through vineyards and mountain valleys and you will find the villa surrounded by forest in a peaceful and secluded location. The local area joins the Garraf Natural Park and yet is only minutes from the beach and all the nightlife of Sitges. The villa has everything to ensure that your holiday will be relaxing and enjoyable: 6 double bedrooms sleeping 12 people. There is a private pool, 3 outside dining terraces, sun drenched south facing grounds where you can sunbathe all day long and a built-in barbecue. There are two lounge/dining rooms, two fully fitted kitchens with dishwashers, fridge/freezers and washing machines. There is also a free high-speed internet connection, two phone lines, computer, printer and fax machine.

Notes on accommodation
Each bedroom has a large double bed (180cm wide) that can be split into 2 single beds, an oak fronted wardrobe, stainless steel laundry bin & a mirrored clothes cabinet. All bedrooms also have hair dryers, irons/ironing boards. Bedlinen and towels are included. The villa has two folding children's cots, play pens and a baby baths.
There is a PC with high speed internet connection, telephone line and fax machine. Use of the internet and incoming phone calls are free of charge. Outgoing calls charged at cost.
Also provided: satellite TV offering a wide variety of popular films in English and Spanish (no terrestrial TV), Hi-fi and DVD player with DVD library of popular films, washing machine and dishwasher. Games box with selection of popular board games.
Pets are welcome.
Outside
Private pool with curved steps into water. Tapered rectangular pool measuring 10m by 6m along longest sides. Deepest point just over 2m. Stunning under water flood lighting, ideal for night swimming. Large poolside terrace with 6 sunloungers, side tables and parasols gets the sun all day.
The grounds (total area of 1000m2) are planted with palms, exotic plants, citrus and other fruit trees. Secluded detached setting in a forest interspersed with a small number of other large villas.
Upper terrace: Outdoor dining table and parasol with 6 dining chairs and 2 relaxing low chairs. Large built in outdoor barbecue. A wide tiled path leads down to the pool.
Lower terrace: Outdoor dining table and parasol with 6 dining chairs. A wide drive leads up to the street. Terrace joins onto the pool terrace.
Coast/Beach
Sitges is the nearest beach resort (15 minutes by car) and has a free car park. Lovely Spanish town with traditional Spanish feel which has not been over developed. Highly popular with affluent Barcelona residents. Many great restaurants, bars and clubs. There are many other beach resorts within 20 minutes drive. Regular trains into Barcelona from Sitges.
Travel
Barcelona airport - 35 minutes by car. This is the best airport to fly into. Gerona is much further away.
Car hire is highly recommended in order to make best use of local facilities and also because we are in a secluded setting. There are however taxis and a limited bus services.
All roads in the area are tarmaced.

San Pere de Ribes (closest town) with large supermarket: 5 minutes.
Beach: 15 minute drive.
Local shop, bank and pharmacy: 2 minutes.
Tarragona: 50 minutes.
Universal Studios theme park and water park: 50 minutes.
Junction 28 of C32 motorway: 10 minutes.
Further details
Location: South of Barcelona straight down the main motorway (C32) which provides very good connections. Barcelona town centre, Barcelona airport, Sitges and Tarragona are all off the C32. Barcelona is very simple to drive into. Straight down C32 following signs. Many cheap car parks in town.
Universal Studios Theme park and Costa Caribe water park are excellent theme parks and a must for any family.
