The village sits amongst protected woodland with views of distant mountains. It is close to the local beach. It is landscaped throughout. It has multiple swimming pools, a large main pool at its centre with a shaded poolside bar. There is a complex with an indoor swimming pool and bar, sauna, fitness room (with multi-gym, free weights, running machine, exercise bike, turntable, steps and mats) with showers and changing rooms. The village also has an open-air rooftop restaurant and bar, a tennis court, and a shop for your basic requirements with a small internet cafe. There is 24 hour security; with 2 members of staff always on site to provide assistance and advice should you need it. The apartment is on the ground floor. It is new, fully equipped, furnished, and air conditioned. There are 2 bedrooms and a double sofabed in the lounge if required.

Coast/Beach
Fethiye has its own marina and every kind of water sport and boat trip or you can charter a gulet with or without crew. Calis has a large promenade and beach. 20 mins walk along beautiful and quaint woodland path to beach with low key bar/cafe and some water sports. (Please check with us on the availabilty of this facility. The path may be closed but a shuttle bus may be being provided instead (Jan 08).
Travel
Dalaman airport approx 30 - 40 mins transfer by car. Very easy journey now there is a new tunnel through the mountain range.
Transfer costs 1 - 3 people £50 return, 4 - 6 people £60 return (at time of writing - may be subject to change).
New for this season (2008) Dalaman is now an Easyjet destination from Gatwick.
Distances
Fethiye stands on the hillside of Mount Mendos, on the 'Turquoise Coast', so called after the beautiful colour of the sea. The town itself has a wealth of historical and cultural sights and artefacts and a bazaar with narrow shady streets and tiny squares, restaurants and shopping. There is also a permanent local market, mainly for fresh fish.
Further details
Dolmus (bus) service 10 - 15 mins journey to Fethiye, marina, bazaar, restaurants, bars, supermarket. 20 - 30 mins to Calis beach, restaurants and bars. You will also find many tours and excursions available - trips to Saklikent Gorge, Kayakoy village, boat trips, hydrofoil to Rhodes etc.
