Carefully furnished for quality and comfort, our apartment has a large south facing roof terrace which enjoys the sun all day and has magnificent views across Altinkum to the sea and mountains. The sun terrace has a large solid wood table, parasol and 8 reclining sun chairs and 4 solid wood sun loungers with mattress pads. Located in a quiet area of the town, the Dolphin 2 complex has a large outdoor, indoor, children's and jacuzzi pools, gym, games room with pool table, shop, bar, restaurant and outdoor children's play area (all seasonal). Bed linen and towels are included (except beach towels). All rooms are air conditioned and the apartment fully equipped with satellite TV, DVD player, a selection of DVDs, books, board games, X Box and games, washing machine, iron and ironing board. Beds have both feather and synthetic pillows and feather quilts. Located on the fourth floor the apartment can be reached by lift or stairs.

Changeover day
Changeover days and times are flexible. If there are no guests arriving on your day of departure then you may use the apartment until you leave. Toilets and changing facilities are provided on the complex if the apartment is not available for you to use.

Outside
The complex has attractive enclosed gardens with a beautiful water feature, plenty of sun loungers and seating around the huge outdoor pool, children's and jacuzzi massage pools, a heated indoor pool (winter only) gym, games room, bar, restaurant and shop (all seasonal). There is also a children's play area with a swing and slide.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful beaches of Altinkum are approx 1.5km away (5 minute bus ride or 30 minute walk). First, Second and Third beaches are considered the finest in Turkey with beautiful golden sands gently shelving into the warm waters of the Aegean sea. You can hire sun loungers and parasols and there are a whole host of restaurants, cafes and shops eager to provide you with welcome refreshments at any time of the day (or night!) along the bustling seafront.
Travel
Fly to Izmir (1 hour 45 mins away) or Bodrum (1.5 hours away). Airport transfers can be arranged on request. A car is not required to enjoy this holiday accommodation (although car hire is available locally at very reasonable prices).
Distances
5 minute walk to shops, bars and restaurants in Didim and the very popular market held every Saturday, great for t-shirts and handbags. Most Altinkum and Didim restaurants offer a free taxi service to collect and return you for that all important evening meal. The Aqua Park is approx 15 mins away, reached by dolmus, the regular bus service or taxi. The temple of Appollo is close by and trips to Pammakkule, Bodrum and other places of interest can be arranged locally.
Further details
There are banks and cash points in Didim and Altinkum for both Sterling and Turkish Lira both of which are accepted locally.
Altinkum does have a nightclub and a selection of very lively bars providing evening entertainment for the more adventurous!
