Notes on accommodation
Travel cot available. Ideal for families, groups or couples it has the perfect combination of sun and quiet relaxation close at hand whilst a ‘resort’ orientated environment providing the hustle and bustle of Altinkum is just a 7 min Dolmus/taxi ride/drive away.
The complex is manned by a security guard 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There is parking available on the complex.
All rooms have air conditioning and all windows are UPVC double glazed windows with mosquito nets. The hot water is provided by an electric water heater and not via solar heating. Therefore, hot water is available all day and night.

Accessibility
Villa is on 3 stories with stairs for each. Also small set of stairs at front and back to access the property.
Outside
Sun terrace overlooks one of the pools, 2 loungers and design of the villas ensures that the terrace receives sunlight virtual all day and is not overlooked by any other villas. There is a small grass area next to the patio. The complex is spacious and covers approx 14000sqm has 60 properties and is enclosed in a dry stone wall with wrought iron gates at each entrance. There are 2 large swimming pools, both with a children’s pool, a tennis court, a basketball court and a children’s play area.
Coast/Beach
The Yesilkant beach is approxy 120m from the complex. Looking over Akbuk Bay. The beach is soft sand (with some shells) and the magnificent mountains reflect in the clear turquoise waters. The water slopes gently and is ideal for children. A 7 min dolmus ride (minibus) away is Altinkum, (which means ‘Golden Sands’ in Turkish). Altinkum beach is long and broad and sandy. Gently shelving into the clear water it is ideal for children and adults.
Travel
Local airports are Bodrum and Izmir. Both are approx 75 mins drive or transfer. Shared or private transfers can be arranged via a number of companies in Altinkum and we can advise on options. Alternatively car hire is available at the airport. The local dolmus (minibus) services that run every 15 mins in Altinkum also cover Yesilkent and a car is not required. Trips can also be arranged via companies in Altinkum. Car hire is also available if preferred.
Distances
Altinkum is 7 min by dolmus. The dolmus stop is 5 min from the villa. Temple of Appollo in Didim is a 20 min dolmus trip. Aqua Park is 25 min dolmus trip. Altinkum market is becoming famous in its own right. Held on Saturdays in Didim it is a 15-20 min dolmus ride from Yesilkent. Ephesus is a 2 hour drive.
Further details
The area is steeped in history, from the Greek, Persian, Roman and Christian societies in particular. Ephesus is one of the most well preserved Roman cities in Turkey and it also houses one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, The Temple of Artemis. There is also natural beauty such as Pamukkale and Bafa Lake as well as shopping, sailing and general sight seeing. There are a many restaurants in Altinkum on the front itself and its side streets and up into Dolphin Square, the choice of eateries is plentiful. Altinkum has an excellent reputation for its food, with many restaurants catering for both Turkish and English tastes. The fact that Altinkum is very much a resort for Turkish holidaymakers as well as westerners guarantees that genuine Turkish cuisine is in plentiful and value for money. There are a number of supermarkets in Altinkum and in the summer the Gima stays open 24 hours. Additionally, Altinkum Market is becoming famous in its own right. Held on Saturday's it is a 15-20 min Dolmus ride from Yesilkent. Cash machines are plentiful in Altinkum and take most English cards.
