Our privately owned three bedroom villa is waiting to welcome you on your visit to the Gulf Coast area of south-west Florida. Plots either side of our home are undeveloped offering a great deal of privacy - one plot is owned by the villa owners. Home of herons, alligators, restaurants and sunshine! Our villa backs onto a freshwater canal and has the advantage of plenty of wildlife around the area.

Changeover day
Any day of the week for arrival and departure. Check-in time after 4pm. Check-out time is 10am unless other arrangements have been made.

Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning is essential in Florida and full instructions regarding the system is available at the property. Our villa welcomes children, an alarm is fitted on all exits from the property to the pool area for their safety. Our management company in Englewood is available at all times should you have any query or emergency.

Outside
30ft private pool - depth ranges from 3ft to 5ft is south facing. The rear of the property is particularly private as plots either side are undeveloped, one plot owner by the villa owners. Gas BBQ and tools provided, gas is included in the rental fee. Double integral garage with 2 adult and one child bicycles. Beach chairs and umbrella provided. 4 loungers with cushions, 6 chairs and large table in the pool area for alfresco meals. The villa has an external shower. Plenty of outdoor lighting, including underwater pool lighting. Our villa has a garden which extends to the freshwater canal which has plenty of fish which can be caught on a 'fish and release' scheme. Alligators, turtles, birds galore, armadillos, raccoons and you may be lucky enough to see the local bobcat or panther.
Coast/Beach
Englewood beach which includes the State Park of Stump Pass is a short drive from the villa. Several other beaches on the Gulf Coast, Middle Beach and Manasota beach are close by. Boca Grande on Gasparilla Island has a wonderful beach and a lighthouse museum to visit.
Golf
Five golf courses within the Rotonda area, most within 3 miles.
Travel
Tampa and Fort Myers airports within 2 hours drive. Orlando and Sanford airports three to three and half hour drive, Miami around 4 hours.
Distances
Englewood is a small town but has a 24/7 Wal Mart and plenty of shops and as many restaurants as one could wish. Port Charlotte (14 miles to the east) has a shopping mall with J C Penney, Sears, Macy's and Dillard's. There is a cinema within the mall. Venice to the north is Olde World Florida with specialist shops. Sarasota to the north and Naples to the south both within daily reach and host cultural events in their theatres and concert halls.
Further details
Englewood has banks with ATMs should you need them, Wal Mart, Winn Dixie, Publix and a Beall's store. Telephone at the villa available for free local calls, long distance and International calls are easily made by obtaining a card from a supermarket and following the instructions.
Booking notes
£100/$200 non-refundable deposit required with the completed booking form. Balance of payment due six weeks before rental commences along with £200/$400 security deposit which will be refunded in the currency in which it is paid within two weeks of the completion of the rental period subject to a satisfactory report from our management company. Gas for the barbecue and cleaning on departure included in the rental rates.
