Dingle Cottage is over one hundred years old and was originally 2 tenant farmers cottages. It is situated just inside the Welsh border in the tiny hamlet of Hyssington just outside Bishops Castle. Nestled in a secluded valley overlooking a stream, Dingle Cottage is the perfect place to relax or use as a base for the many different walks around the area. As well as Bishops Castle, Montgomery and Welshpool are only a short drive away. The cottage was fully modernised in 2000 and now boasts a spacious bathroom and new utility room. It is ideal for walkers and is a perfect place to relax. Ideally situated for coastal visits, touring castles or visiting the market towns of Shropshire. The cottage has a compact kitchen-diner, large bathroom, 2 bedrooms and multi-fuel burning stove in the main room. In the garden that surrounds the cottage there is a new patio with a BBQ and outdoor furniture.

Bathrooms: Large bathroom consisting of white suite including bath and separate shower. Heated by storage heater.
Kitchen: Compact and fully equipped kitchen-diner with seating for four. Includes cooker, hob, with fridge/freezer and microwave in utility. Features original bread oven and old fashioned washing tub. Low wooden beams and fully tiled floor.
Utility Room: Washing machine, dryer and separate sink.
Living Rooms: Multi-fuel burning stove in inglenook which features an original bread oven. Comfortable seating for 4, slate flooring with rug. Good selection of reading material, CD player and a selection of board games.

Cottage is fully cleaned and fresh bedding is provided before each new visit. Towels provided.

Unfortunately the cottage is not suitable for wheelchair users.

The approach to the cottage is down a long gated farm track with space for two cars. The ample garden is partially fenced off with access to a bridge over the stream. It includes a patio with garden furniture and BBQ.

More than 60 beaches in Wales are recommended in this years Good Beach Guide and most are within a 1.5 to 2 hour drive from the cottage.

Further details
Provisions are easily obtained from Harry Tuffins supermarket (which is huge) about two miles away. It sell almost anything and has a post office, hairdressers and cafe. It holds a Sunday morning market and car-boot sale weekly. Banks, post office and local shops are found in Bishops Castle.

Booking notes
25% of full fee on confirmation of booking. Balance due 56 days before arrival. For bookings made within the 56 day period full amount is payable on booking. Cancellations before 56 day period loss of deposit. Cancellations after 56 days loss of 75% of full booking fee. Access to the key will be given on full payment of balance at least one week before.
